The mission of Indiana Defense Network is to reduce burdens of government by facilitating education, testing, training in the urban environment, and advancing opportunities to protect the warfighter utilizing military facilities throughout Indiana.
Operations Management of the Indiana Technical Interchange Meeting and Precipitated Project SupportWe hosted and coordinated the planning of Indianas first Defense Related Technical Interchange Meeting for the Air Force Research Laboratory & the IEDC, a 2-day virtual event of over 100 viewers and 9 presenters. This meeting was used as the catalyst for a funding opportunity called the Shark Tank that provided small/medium businesses the ability to work with academia & Prime suppliers to develop enhanced methods of working in the defense supply chain. Each of the 4 businesses were awarded and are supported by us in their efforts of reporting to IEDC.
Operations Management for the Cyber AcademyLocated on MUTC Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (operated by Indiana Army National Guard) and academically led by Columbus Indiana Ivy Tech , we operated as the third party responsible for housing. We managed 24 students while they completed an accelerated 11-month, 60-credit program Cyber Security/Information Assurance Associate of Applied Science and the ability to obtain 3 national certifications (CCENT, A+, and security +). We improved the facilities and offered other amenities that ensured student success and living.
