TO FURTHER THE ADVANCEMENT OF ALL BREEDS OF DOGS, TO DO ALL IN ITS POWER TO PROTECT & ADVANCE TO ADVANCE THE INTEREST OF ALL DOSGS & TO ENCOURAGE SPORTSMANLIKE COMPETITION AT DOG SHOW, TO CONDUCT SANCTIONED DOG SHOWS UNDER THE RULES OF THE AKS TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF DOG OWNERS
The club held four agiltiy trials and a conformation trial and two obedience trials for dog owners to compete and display their skills in handling their dogs in a sportsman like manner. These events promote excellence in breeding and more responsible dog ownership
Building and operating costs to provide a place to hold events and training classes
The club held classes on an ongoing basis in the instruction of conformation, obedience, rally canine good citizenship, nose work, therapy dog and agility training. Because of the bonds established and skills learned, the owners are more responsible and the dogs are better mannered and managed, both of which are assets to the community
