Organizations Filed Purposes:
Promotion of Tourism, Economic Development and Activity in the Whitewater Valley of Southeast Indiana.
Bluegrass Festival in June, providing venue for entertaining the community. Stage was built in 2014 behind the Museum.
The Organization continued to develop and improve the gateway center at its location in Metamora, Indiana. The Center, aquired in 2010, has been developed into a Visitors Center, Cultural Museum and Community Center that provides a venue for various community events. The organizations corporate offices are located at this site. The Visitors Center/Museum has regular hours open to the public from Thursday to Sunday staffed by volunteers. The Inter-active driving guide was completed in 2013. The driving guide along with GPS software program completed in 2013 is added to the Childrens Guide to the Valley Publication.
The organization continued to complete the marking and signage of the designated Byway Route including Three Loops. The signs that mark the route along various county roads and state highways highlight various historical and cultural sites.
