PRIVATE AND GROUP LESSONS IN THE ARTS: HELP STUDENTS GROW AND DEVELOP TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE ARTS. IMPACTED APPROXIMATELY 475 STUDENTS

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: THIS PROGRAM WAS LAUNCHED IN 2018. CHILDREN FROM 3 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS WERE PICKED UP AFTER SCHOOL AND TRANSPORTED TO THE FOUNDRY LOCATION, PROVIDED WITH SNACKS AND PLAYED GAMES. EACH CHILD THEN SELECTED 2 0NE-HOUR ART CLASSES FROM CATEGORIES SUCH AS DRAMA, DANCE, ART AND MUSIC, ETC. TO COMPLETE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2.5 HOUR AFTER SCHOOL-DAY AT THE FOUNDRY. THIS PROGRAM BENEFITS CHILDREN FROM A WIDE RANGE OF SOCIOECONOMIC GROUPS REPRESENTED IN THE COMMUNITY. IN THE INITIAL YEAR OF THIS PROGRAM, BETWEEN 40 AND 60 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE SERVED.
