Blue Ridge International For Christs purpose is to support overseas missions projects for the relief of the poor, the distressed, the underprivileged, and religious and charitable activities abroad.
BRIC operates a medical and dental clinic in the Dominican Republic. Its purpose is to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the general public. During the year, several thousand people were served at or through clinic operations. Minimal fees are charged for these services. Most medicine is dispensed at no charge to the patients.
BRIC drills wells for communities and other charitable organizations in Haiti. This has been a major focus of BRICs program activities in Haiti. During the year, BRIC drilled 27 wells. Fees are charged for drilling to help offset the costs of the drilling program. It is estimated that 13,500 people will be served with these wells on a continuing basis.
BRIC operates a girls discipleship program in Leogane. The purpose of the program is to share the redeeming love of Jesus Christ to disadvantaged girls in Haiti and to provide occupational training so they can contribute to their society while earning an income for themselves and their families.
