The Rushville Elks Lodge, Inc. is a fraternal organization decicated to the development of community leaders through donations to area health, youth, and veterans organizations. The Lodge, as a part of its fraternal functions, operates a bar and dining room in Rushville open to members only. The Lodge also operates a golf course which is open to the entire community. For many years this was the only golf course available in Rush County. Therefore, the Lodge made it available to all golfers without regard to race, religion, or national origin.Like the Golf Course, the Lodge accepts members without regard to sex, race, or national origin.

Elks Lodge Functions - Fraternal activities plus fund raising through State approved bingo and pulltab games. These activites funded over $20,000 in contributions to local charities such as Clothe-a-Child, Rush County Community Foundation, the VA Hospital in Indianapolis, Scholarships for Rush County students and the Rushville Boys & Girls Club. The Club also funds State Elks activities such as their cancer fund.
Lodge dining room, bar and club are operated solely for the use of members as a part of the Club's fraternal functions.
Golf course, related bar and cafe - are owned and operated by the Lodge. This is the only course adjacent to Rushville and therefore, it is open to non-members. A corresponding portion of its operations is reported on Form 990-T.
