Organizations Filed Purposes:
To advance the general welfare and prosperity of Shelby county, Indiana so the citizens and business communities prosper.
The exempt purposes of the Chamber were achieved through conducting programs that foster the welfare and prosperity of all Shelby County, Indiana citizens and businesses. These programs include business net-working opportunities, a job and career fair, annual recognition of outstanding men and women community business leaders and many other sponsorships of business training and focus groups.The Leadership Shelby County program, relaunched in 2015, grew from 21 participants in 2016 to 25 as we celebrated their graduation in April 2017.The Annual Awards Gala has become an important community event where deserving members are recognized and honored for their community contributions.The Chamber is also currently conducting Legislative Updates that are offered not only to Chamber members but to the surrounding community as well. Through sponsorships, they were able to provide these Legislative Luncheons with our representatives in attendance at no cost.
