Organizations Filed Purposes:
Assisting individuals returning from incarceration by referring them to service providers that offer education, job training, housing and other services to reduce recidivism.
To assist ex-felons in successfully reintegrating with the community.
CAPARC provides intensive case managment with clients and vocational training in various occupations which includes costs for textbooks, trainers and supplies. Other direct assistance includes providing tuition assistance, tools, uniforms, ID cards and transportation. Approximately 150 clients were assisted with vocational rehabilitation during 2017.
CAPARC coordinates mentors who go into prisons to mentor inmates and to assist with job placement upon getting released. CAPARC has approximately 35 mentor volunteers and served approximately 150 clients during 2017
