To provide services to persons with or at risk for mental health and substance abuse issues.
Alliance House Residential Center (AHRC) is a transitional housing program for individuals with substance addictions and/or mental illness. The program houses 24 adult clients. During their six-month stay, clients receive assistance with money management, job placement, and other life skills while working to transition into permanent housing.
The Alliance House Drop-In Center (DIC) is the flagship program, providing a supportive community environment of social, recreational, and learning activities for individuals with mental illness. With the exception of the Program Director, the DIC is run by clients with the goals of decreasing the social isolation of individuals with mental illness. Daily workshops provide clients with life skill training in areas such as coping with stress, money management, computer training, and symptom management.
TARGET HEALTH is a statewide training program and Peer Support group model developed to encourage increased residency, wellness, and self-management of health and behavioral health among people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The program will train facilitators in order to conduct 8 week long support groups in each of the 10 Local Governing Entities (LGE).
