Organizations Filed Purposes: The Marigny Opera House Foundation's mission is to better the lives of the people of New Orleans by returning the former Holy Trinity Church building to its former place in the community as a spiritual and artistic resource a center of the performing arts, and a place for community gatherings, celebrations and weddings.

Marigny Opera Ballet - The Company was founded in 2014 originally as the Marigny Opera House Dance Company to provide professional experience to local dancers, choreographers, musicians and technical staff. Eleven dancers, one Apprentice, a Ballet Master and Rehearsal Director and independent choreographers and composers are contracted to create new works of modern dance to be accompanied by live, acoustic music provided by local musicians. All artists were paid for rehearsals and performances. The Company presented three programs between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, with a fourth planned that was cancelled due to the pandemic onset. The shows are performed to an audience of local school children free of charge, and to the public over the course of three nights.

Community Arts Performances - Between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 we produced 9 performances of the Marigny Opera Ballet, a sold-out weekend of circus and sideshow arts performances by LadyBEAST Productions, twelve performances of The Glass Menagerie by the Tennessee Williams Theatre Company, Love Letters from WWII an original program by Mlange Dance Company, and dozens of local classical, jazz, theater, and other types of performances by New Orleans area artists, all but the largest productions are open to the public by suggested donation with none turned away for lack of funds. In every case, artists were given free rehearsal space, technical assistance, marketing and 60 per cent of all donations or ticket sales.

Community Arts and Ceremonies Hosting Program - the Marigny Opera House building is offered as a space to host various artistic productions, rehearsals, special events, community and service events, memorial services, film/photography shoots, and wedding ceremonies.
