They organize and manage the entire experience, from helping the corporate volunteer determine the best volunteer project, to setting up and running the event at your location or ours.Student GroupsNOLA Tree Project specializes in creating and managing custom and meaningful volunteer experiences tailored to your groups interests. Spend an afternoon planting a Community Orchard, working in an urban forest or painting a school. The organization gave the students background and historical information on the city and the project, and leads educational tours.NOLA Tree Project organizes and manages the entire experience, from determining the best volunteer project to setting up and running the event.Greaux Healthy Kids & Community OrchardsNOLA Tree Project provides access to fresh fruit and eco-literacy for thousands of kids through our #GreauxHealthyKids initiative. The goal is to plant fruit orchards at 20 low income schools in New Orleans this year, with a larger goal of 100 schools over the next five years.The community orchards are fruit trees planted on formerly vacant and blighted lots, at community centers and in parks primarily in lower income neighborhoods across the city.
