CREATION AND SUPPORT OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS DESIGNED TO FUND AND DEVELOP MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT ARTS IN LOUISIANA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
THE "INSTRUMENTS A'COMIN" PROGRAM PROVIDES MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS TO PUBLIC SCHOOL BAND PROGRAMS. INSTRUMENTS ARE SELECTED ACCORDING TO WISH LIST COMPILED BY THE BAND DIRECTORS AT EACH SCHOOL.
THE TIPITINA'S INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP DEVELOP MUSICIANSHIP SKILLS, RECORDING STUDIO EXPERIENCE, AND BUSINESS ACUMEN. THE PROGRAM ALLOWS A DIVERSE GROUP OF STUDENTS TO BECOME IMMERSED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY.
THE MUSIC CO-OP PROGRAM ALLOWS LOCAL MUSICIANS TO OPERATE ON A PROFESSIONAL BASIS. THE CO-OP IS EQUIPPED WITH COMPUTERS, INTERNET LINES, PHONE/FAX AND OTHER BUSINESS RESOURCES.
