Azimuth World Foundation was formed in 2019 to actively participate in creating a world where humanity and nature thrive by elevating and supporting other nonprofit organizations actively working to address root-causes in social, environmental and nature conservation. Azimuth World Foundation continues to be in start-up mode due to the global pandemic for COVID-19. Azimuth gives voice to and raises funds for charities that implement solutions that change the world in a positive way in three key areas:*Public Health because diseases can be prevented or treated with timely access to appropriate and affordable medication and other health services.*Access to Safe Water because it means life, health, education, and income especially for children and women, yet 2.1 billion people still live without clean and safe water.*Balance between Humankind and Nature because we need to build on successful conservation efforts and help local communities find ways to thrive alongside nature and wildlife. During 2020, Azimuth partnered with Water Missions International on two safe water projects. With the installation of 30 handwashing stations at 15 schools in Kasulu district, Tanzania, the organization provided access to safe water for 23,337 children, teachers, and their families. In addition, this partnership helped to implement a brand new safe water system at a Malawian Health Centre in Mzimba district, serving 19,600 people. The Centre had been operating without safe water since February 2020 whn an on-site water pump broke. The new water system will meet the water needs of 1,000 people, three times the daily average of visitors to the Centre. Please visit azimuthworldfoundation.org for more details.
