Organizations Filed Purposes: Fargo-Moorhead Curling Club's mission is to promote the sport of curling within our community, foster fellowship, and to support and develop youth and amateur athletes.

The organization's primary exempt purpose is to promote the sport of curling.

The organization's purpose is to promote the sport of curling, to provide a facility to participate in the sport, to increase the participant's skills and to conduct bonspiels and other competitions. The organization had approximately 650 members during the current fiscal year. There were a total of 11 full year leagues for the current year including 2 men's leagues, 2 youth leagues, 3 open leagues, 2 novice leagues and also 1 league each for women and competitive. There also was a part-year league for 6-9 year olds so they could try out curling at a younger age. (Continued on Schedule O)The Organization hosted various sessions including Hit/Draw/Tap (a program for youth), "Learn To Curl" sessions, Curling lessons and open curling. Throughout the year many groups from various organizations came in to learn about curling, including students from area schools. There were three Mini-Leagues in place. These leagues are six weeks each in length to allow new curlers to get a feel for a league and to see if they enjoy the sport of Curling. The leagues included one for Hope Inc. (children's wheelchair curling). The Organization also hosted an officiating clinic in the Fall of 2019 and a clinic with Korey Dropkin. Korey is a very competitive curler who has curled in and won many USA and world competitive championships. Also during the current fiscal year, several bonspiels were held including:-The "Green" Bonspiel - a bonspiel where two members of the four member team had to be "new" curlers (under three-years). -A Junior bonspiel for youth -The "Two-Clubs" Bonspiel in the past was a combination tournament between the Fargo-Moorhead and Sioux Falls, SD curling clubs. Sioux Falls does not have a dedicated ice curling club and wanted to get a feel for the bonspiel atmosphere/experience. Over the years, the "Two-Club's" Bonspiel has turned into a "Three-Club's Bonspiel" in which Aberdeen SD was added. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this bonspiel was not able to be held in March 2020. The "Three-Clubs Bonspiel" is expected to return and be held in March 2021. -We held the North Dakota High School Championships February 28 - March 1, 2020. -The 2020 USA College Championships were scheduled to be held the 3rd week in March 2020, but the event had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
