CULTIVATE A STRONG COMMUNITY BY BEING THE MEANINGFUL RESOURCE AT THE FOREFRONT OF HOMEOWNERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO FOSTER A PROSPEROUS BUILDING INDUSTRY.
THE HOME & GARDEN SHOW AND PARADE OF HOMES WERE CREATED TO PROMOTE THE HOME BUILDING INDUSTRY AND, SPECIFICALLY, IT'S MEMBERS, TO AREA CONSUMERS. THE RED RIVER VALLEY HOME & GARDEN SHOW OFFERS A ONE-STOP-SHOP ENVIRONMENT FOR CONSUMERS LOOKING TO BUILD OR REMODEL THEIR HOMES OR JUST SEE WHAT'S NEW IN HOME DESIGN, WHILE ALSO PROMOTING THE HOME BUILDING INDUSTRY TO THE PUBLIC. THE HBA OF F-M HAS STRIVED TO MAKE THE SHOW 'FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY' TO MAKE IT AN EVENT THE WHOLE FAMILY ENJOYS WITH ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS WHILE PARENTS SHOP AND TALK TO EXHIBITORS. THE EVENT DREW IN THOUSANDS OF CONSUMERS IN 2019.THE PARADE OF HOMES IS A UNIQUE EVENT THAT ALLOWS CONSUMERS TO SEE FIRST-HAND THE PRODUCTS OF OUR BUILDER AND REMODELER MEMBERS AND TALK TO THEM IN A LOW-PRESSURE ATMOSPHERE. THE 2019 PARADES HIGHLIGHTED NEARLY 150 HOMES AND REMODEL PROJECTS.THE GOLF OUTINGS PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE SOME FUN AND NETWORK WITH THEIR FELLOW MEMBERS TO FURTHER THEIR BUSINESS CONNECTIONS. MANY MEMBERS HAVE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THAT ARE USED BY OTHER MEMBERS AND THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO TALK WITH THOSE MEMBERS IN A SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE.
