Organizations Filed Purposes:
To improve oral health and quality of life for all North Dakotans. To accomplish our mission we focus on three areas: 1) access, 2) education, and 3) workforce.
The NDDF supports orgranizations to improve performance and measurable results.
North Dakota Mission of Mercy biannual 2-day free dental clinic held in 2018 and planned for 2020. 2019 was a fundraising year without the event actually being held.
The Kids Toothbrush Project distributed 11,791 toothbrush kits in 2019 to North Dakota children in need and 46,000 since the program began.
Bright Futures in Dentistry in partnership with the North Dakota Dental Association and North Dakota State College of Science, promoted dental assisting as a career option to high school students and providing scholarships to encourage chairside trained assistants to become DANB certified. This work resulted in 32 applications to NDSCS's program in 2019.
