Organizations Filed Purposes:
The purpose of Valley Memorial Foundation (DBA: Valley Senior Living Foundation) is to seek and accept philanthropic gifts to perpetuate an endowment fund and to support services that enhance the care of the residents of Valley Memorial Homes (DBA: Valley Senior Living).
We identified a need for spiritual care when our facility opened 93 years ago. We believe spiritual care is important in the lives of our residents. These funds were used to help continue the chaplaincy program for all the residents, families and staff.
We identified a need to support a building and renovation project at the 4000 Valley Square (DBA: Valley Senior Living on 42nd) campus. The funds were used to support the following projects: Head Start classroom for intergenerational programming, Town Square renovations and new social room.
We identified a need to enhance to outdoor living areas in courtyards at Valley Senior Living on Columbia. The proceeds for this project came from the golf tournament.
