Organizations Filed Purposes: FWLE IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, FOR THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE OF ADVANCING THE PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF WOMEN OF ALL BACKGROUNDS TO ACHIEVE THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL AS LEADERS OF OUR WORKPLACES, COMMUNITIES AND SOCIETY IN EQUAL PARTNERSHIP WITH MEN. THE CORPORATION'S INITIATIVES, PROGRAMS AND EVENTS ARE PRIMARILY AIMED AT THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF WOMEN AND GIRLS, BUT ARE OPEN AND INCLUSIVE OF MEN AS WELL, AND STRIVE TO IMPARTLEADERSHIP LESSONS TO PERSONS OF ALL WALKS OF LIFE. OUR ASPIRATIONAL GOALS ARE MULTI-DIMENSIONAL: EMPOWER: INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE WOMEN AND MEN TO TRANSCEND THE TRADITIONAL BOUNDARIES IMPOSED UPON THEM - WHETHER INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL, AND EXPAND THEIR SELF-CONFIDENCE, SELF-DETERMINATION AND CAPACITY TO REACH THEIR HIGHEST LEVEL OF PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE. EDUCATE: PRODUCE AFFORDABLE LEADERSHIP/EMPOWERM

THE FOUNDATION FOR WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP & EMPOWERMENT ("FWLE") ASSUMED THE ROLE OF OWNER AND PRODUCER OF THE PRE-EXISTING ANNUAL WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE ("WLC") PURSUANT TO A CHARITABLE DONATION FROM THE MGM RESORTS FOUNDATION EFFECTIVE AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2019. THE AUGUST 2019 WLC WAS THE LAST CONFERENCE PRODUCED BY THE MGM RESORTS FOUNDATION. HENCEFORTH, IT IS CONTEMPLATED THAT FWLE WILL PRODUCE AND PRESENT WLC AS ITS ANCHOR PROGRAM. TRADITIONALLY WLC HAS BEEN A TWO-DAY, IN-PERSON CONFERENCE EXPERIENCE COMPRISED OF THE FOLLOWING ELEMENTS: -MAINSTAGE PRESENTATIONS BY KEYNOTE SPEAKERS WHO ARE ACCLAIMED CROSS- INDUSTRY ROLE MODELS FROM ALL LEVELS OF LEADERSHIP -MULTI-FACETED GROUP WORKSHOPS LED BY SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS WHO TEACH LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS AND EXPLORE REAL-LIFE ISSUES AND SITUATIONS -INDIVIDUAL CAREER GUIDANCE SESSIONS WITH PROFESSIONAL COACHES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -PEER DISCUSSION WITH HIGH-ACHIEVING COLLEAGUES FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AND WORKPLACES -PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING THE PRESENTATIONS AND WORKSHOP SUBJECTS SPOTLIGHT OR EXAMINE DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES, SUCH AS SELF-CONFIDENCE; EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION; EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE; CAREER PLANNING; TEAM BUILDING; LEADING VIRTUAL TEAMS; FINANCIAL ACUMEN; ETC. ASPIRING WOMEN PRESENTED BY FWLE" WEBINAR SERIES: THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY RESTRICTIONS RELATED TO THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC FORCED CANCELLATION OF THE 2020 WLC. THIS TURN OF EVENTS ACCELERATED THE FOUNDATION'S DEVELOPMENT OF VIRTUAL TECHNOLOGY-BASED PROGRAMMING, WHICH RESULTED IN THE DEBUT IN SEPTEMBER 2020 OF THE "ASPIRING WOMEN PRESENTED BY FWLE" WEBINAR - A SEVEN-PART SERIES OF ONE-HOUR PRESENTATIONS (SPANNING SEPTEMBER 2020 THROUGH APRIL 2021) BY SUBJECT-MATTER EXPERTS AND OTHER ACCOMPLISHED SPEAKERS. AS WITH THE WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE THIS WEBINAR WAS DESIGNED TO INCLUDE INSPIRATIONAL AND SKILLS-BASED TOPICS, INCLUDED SUBJECTS OF CRITICAL IMPORTANCE TO COVID-19 AND RACIAL JUSTICE CHALLENGES: SUCH AS CULTIVATING UNCONDITIONAL SELF-WORTH; ADDRESSING SYSTEMIC RACISM IN THE WORKPLACE; EXECUTIVE PRESENCE IN THE VIRTUAL AGE; SELF-ADVOCACY, ESPECIALLY IN THE VIRTUAL SETTING; LEADING DISPERSED VIRTUAL TEAMS; AND NAVIGATING CONSTANT CHANGE IN THE GLOBAL ECONOMY. THREE SESSIONS OF THE "ASPIRING WOMEN" PROGRAM WERE COMPLETED BY END-OF-YEAR 2020.

ASIDE FROM THE WLC PRODUCTION, FWLE IS IN THE PROCESS OF FORMULATING OTHER TYPES OF LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS THROUGH OTHER MEDIA, SUCH AS PRODUCTION OF VIRTUAL COMPUTER-BASED PROGRAMS (OF VARYING LENGTH) THAT EXAMINE DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS OF LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES; PRESENT PROFILES OF LEADERSHIP COURAGE; AND/OR FEATURE SUCCESSFUL WOMEN ROLE MODELS FROM A CROSS-SECTION OF INDUSTRIES, GOVERNMENT, NONPROFITS AND ACADEMIA. IN SEPTEMBER 2020 FWLE DEBUTED ITS VIRTUAL SERIES "ASPIRING WOMEN", A SEVEN-PART MONTHLY PROGRAM EXTENDING INTO 2021 THAT EXAMINES ISSUES RELEVANT TO LEADERSHIP AT THE CURRENT TIME OF THE PANDEMIC, HEIGHTENED FOCUS IN AMERICA ON GENDER AND RACIAL EQUITY AND INCREASING COMPLEXITY OF PERPETUAL GLOBAL CHANGE.
