OPERATED THE FUTURE CYCLE PROGRAM TO TEACH AT-RISK YOUNG ADULTS (16-24 YEARS OLD) A WIDE VARIETY OF JOB SKILLS. IN ADDITION TO BICYCLE REPAIR AND MAINTENACE, PARTICIPANTS LEARNED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES SKILLS, COMMUNICATION AND JOB INTERVIEW SKILLS, AND UPON COMPLETION OF THE INITIAL TRAINING, THEY FINISHED THE 15 WEEK PROGRAM WITH AN EXTERNSHIP WITH A PARTNERING BICYCLE SHOP IN THE RENO AREA. DURING 2019, THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 4 PARTICIPANTS, AND 1 PARTICIPANT GRADUATED THE PROGRAM.
