Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Organization serves as an advocate for the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Parks, helping to preserve, promote and enhance its resources for the benefit of the public.
In 2020, National Park Partners (NPP) provided direct financial support to the National Park Service (NPS) for development of the Moccasin Bend Gateway Site visitor center and welcome kiosk. The direct support contributed to the NPS was $248,500. In addition to this direct financial support, NPP provided the marketing and capital raising campaign expertise (including incurred expenses associated with this multi-year capital raising campaign of $10,226). This support represents a very significant milestone for NPP which has raised and contributed to the NPS $535,000 since 2017 in financial support for this Gateway Site development.
Annual fall lecture series was underwritten by NPP. Approximate number of attendees were 450.
Jewell Monument Restoration Fund: The Friends organization collects funds, organizes repair, maintenance and landscaping work to restore National Military Park monuments.
