The mission of CasaLuz is to prevent and reduce domestic violence and related crimes in the Spanish-speaking community and to promote equal access to justice and other services.
CasaLuz's Victims of Violent Crime program is our primary avenue of service delivery in which Spanish-speaking survivors who have been subjected to cruelty and abuse, especially domestic and sexual violence, and immigrants who have been targeted for violent crime here in the U.S. due to their vulnerability and fear of law enforcement. The Victims of Violent Crime program provides victims an avenue for reporting their crimes to law enforcement as well as referrals to legal services organizations and counseling and safety planning.
