The Tennessee Christian Teen Convention (TCTC) exits to pool resources of churches in order to create an annual event which calls the curious, commits the called, and challenges the committed students of today's culture toward a deeper commitment to Jesus Christ.
Tennessee Christian Teen Convention (TCTC) primarily exists to hold an annual weekend event in Gatlinburg, TN for youth groups to attend. The bulk of the event is centered around the main sessions in the big room. There are four main sessions for two different groups of participants totaling eight main sessions in all.
As part of the annual event, TCTC provides additional programs like elective sessions, hands-on service activities, and missions education. In addition, TCTC holds a talent competition prior to the event so winners can participate at the event, and a mission trip after the event for chosen applicants. Additional convention expenses in this area include facility rental, hotel rooms, meals, onsite communication, onsite transportation, and public relations costs.
TCTC Missions collects an annual offering at the convention to fund a mission project in Haiti. The convention gives 100% of these offerings to Haitian Impact Christian Missions to construct church, schools, and community buildings.
