Volunteer East Tennessee inspires service by equipping organizations and mobilizing volunteers to connect with one another and strengthen communities.
Volunteer East Tennessee connects community volunteers with service opportunities with over 120 nonprofit and community organizations. Our program supports nonprofits via a web-based volunteer management and tracking online platform and professional development trainings and workshops for nonprofit professionals working with volunteers. In addition to connecting individual volunteers to service needs, Volunteer East Tennessee works with companies and professional groups interested in serving as a team in the community. Our work also includes engaging in disaster response which this year was defined by COVID-19 programming for community organizations delivering essential services and connecting disaster-specific volunteers to deliver those services.
