Crossroads Prayer Retreat's Mission is to provide sabbatical and continuing education in a serene place for pastors, their families and others. We will provide opportunities to experience God's presence through prayer, rest, healing, worship, music and fellowship.
2019 The Ministry has started programming but was largely in building phase. The expenses were primarily building construction expense, furniture, utilities, banking, website, property insurance, builder's risk insurance, office, supplies, food, travel and other program expenses. Volunteers are able to stay in the small cabin rooms. The Board of Directors is meeting and giving guidance and support. Plans are underway for table garden to be cultivated. Individuals, couples and small groups are coming out for prayer and prayer meetings. The wedding of two strong supporters was celebrated in October. Worship and music events were held at the cabins. A volunteer is cleaning fields and mowing the hay for the hay-- other volunteers are mowing and cleaning the grounds around cabins and lake. Trees, limbs and debris had to be removed after the hurricane passed through in October. All of the work continues to be done by volunteers so there are no salaries. We expect to be fully engaged in 2021. .
