Through FCM Cares, Inc., the employees of First Community Mortgage Inc work with business partners and community members to give back to our communities in an effective and efficient manner.

In 2019 we raised money for 19 charitable organizations and funded 15 scholarships at two post-secondary institutions. We also raised money to purchase shoes and sock for approximately 85 local school children and holiday gift baskets for 144 nursing home residents. In addition, we granted a Disney vacation wish through Make-A-Wish and collected over 4,700 items for a local food drive. We have one donor that contributes the funds we need for general & administrative expenses so that everyone else's donations are spent 100% on the charitable activity they choose. At the end of 2019, we held $13,252.62 for future scholarships and $1,068.02 of temporarily restricted funds for one of our community outreach projects.
