END SLAVERY TENNESSEE PROVIDES SPECIALIZED CASE MANAGEMENT AND COMPREHENSIVE AFTERCARE FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS AND TACTICALLY ADDRESSES THE PROBLEMS THROUGH ADVOCACY, PREVENTION, AND TRAINING FRONT LINE PROFESSIONALS.

AFTERCARE AND SAFE HOUSE PROGRAM: WE PROVIDE HUMAN TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS LONG TERM, COMPREHENSIVE, SPECIALIZED, TRAUMA-INFORMED AFTERCARE THROUGH BOTH IN- HOUSE SERVICES AND OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICE PROVIDERS. WE HAVE A SAFE HOUSE WITH 8 BEDS WHERE SURVIVORS CAN LIVE RENT FREE FOR SIX MONTHS WHILE THEY PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAM. DUE TO COVID, WE SHIFTED THE MAJORITY OF OUR GROUP PROGRAMMING TO A VIRTUAL FORMAT WHICH ALLOWED US TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT GROUPS AND THERAPY WHILE KEEPING PARTICIPATES SAFE. WE ALSO LIMITED OUR HOUSE TO 5 SURVIVORS SO THAT THE SURVIVORS COULD MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING WHILE IN THE SAFE HOUSE. WE RECIEVED 170 CRISIS CALLS FROM 20 COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TN. REFERRALS WERE MADE FROM THE TRAFFICKING HOTLINE, CHERISED HEARTS OR COURT ADVOCATE, LAW ENFORCEMENT, MENTAL OR PHYSICAL HEALTH, SOCIAL SERIVICE AGENCIES, DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN'S SERVICES, AND FAMILY OR SELF. 42% OF SURVIVORS REFERRED TO US WERE YOUTH (AGE 24 AND UNDER). WE PROVIDED 1,073 NIGHTS OF SAFETY TO SURVIVORS IN OUR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM AND 7,556 DAYS OF RESTORATIVE CARE TO SURVIVORS IN OUR AFTERCARE PROGRAM.
ADVOCACY PROGRAM: WE WORK SUCCESSFULLY ON THE LOCAL, STATE AND NATIONAL LEVEL TO CREATE EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION; ACCOMPLISHING SYSTEMIC CHANGE AND INFLUENCING POLICY AND LAWS. WE ALSO HAVE AN OFFICAL PODCAST USED TO PROMOTE OUR WORK AN ADVOCACY: SOMEONE LIKE ME.WE ESTABLISHED AN OFFICIAL PODCAST: SOMEONE LIKE ME. IN ITS FIRST YEAR WE HAD 6,438 DOWNLOADS AND 2,028 LIVESTREAM VIEWS.
TRAINING PROGRAM:AS EXPERTS IN THE FIELD WE TRAIN THOUSANDS OF PROFESSIONALS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS EACH YEAR. EQUIPPING FIRST RESPONDERS TO IDENTIFY VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND HAVE A BROADER SPHERE OF INFLUENCE IN THEIR FIELD.DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, WE ESTABLISHED VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITIES TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND AWARENESS TO FRONT-LINE PROFESSIONALS AND THE COMMUNITY THROUGH CREATING A NEW VIRTUAL TRAINING SERIES TITLED HUMAN TRAFFICKING AT HOME AND TRANSITIONING ALL IN-PERSON TRAININGS TO A VIRTUAL PLATFORM. IN 2020 23,348 TEENS AND EDUCATORS WERE TRAINED THROUGH OUR ONLINE COURSES AND 3,193 PEOPLE WERE REACHED THROUGH AWARENESS EVENTS AND COMMUNITY TRAINING.
