Organizations Filed Purposes: TO PROMOTE AND FACILITATE THE ADOPTION OF SHELTER PETS, ENCOURAGE SPAY & NEUTER FOR ALL PETS, AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE AND BENEFICIAL IMPACT OF THESE ACTIONS. OUR OBJECTIVES ARE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH NUMEROUS INITIATIVES WHICH INCLUDE: HIGH PROFILE ADOPTION EVENTS, FUNDRAISING EVENTS, A NATIONAL PET TRANSPORT NETWORK, AND PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO CAREFULLY VETTED SHELTERS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. MUTTNATION IS ALSO COMMITTED TO PROVIDING MONETARY, HANDS ON AND TRANSPORT ASSISTANCE DURING TIMES OF EMERGENCY AND DISASTER.

MUTTS ACROSS AMERICA - AN ANNUAL PROGRAM SUPPORTING SHELTERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. ONE SHELTER IN EVERY STATE IS AWARDED A "SURPRISE" GRANT. SHELTERS ARE RESEARCHED, REVIEWED, VETTED AND SELECTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS BASED ON A VARIETY OF CRITERIA (OUTLINED ON WEBSITE). TYPICALLY, EACH SHELTER RECEIVES APPROX. $3,000. SINCE THE PROGRAM'S INCEPTION IN 2015, APPROX. 300 SHELTERS HAVE RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM THIS PROGRAM.

DISASTER RELIEF - AS PART OF MUTTNATION'S MISSION, WE HELP SHELTERS AND ANIMALS IN TIMES OF NATURAL DISASTER. THE MAJORITY OF OUR SUPPORT IS GIVEN THROUGH VETTED PROGRAMS THAT ASSIST WITH ANIMAL VACCINATION AND TRANSPORT. TRANSPORT IS PROVIDED TO ANIMALS CURRENTLY IN SHELTERS IN THE IMPACTED AREAS, MOVING THEM TO OTHER COUNTIES AND STATES IN ORDER TO MAKE ROOM FOR PEOPLE'S PETS WHO HAVE BEEN LOST OR SEPARATED FROM THEIR OWNERS DURING THE CRISIS. THIS MAKES IT EASIER FOR OWNERS AND THEIR PETS TO BE REUNITED IN A TIMELY MANNER ONCE THE CRISIS PASSES AND ALSO ALLOWS THE ANIMALS THAT HAD BEEN IN THE LOCAL SHELTERS TO HAVE A NEW CHANCE TO BE ADOPTED IN THEIR NEW LOCATION.

GENERAL SUPPORT - SOME OF THE PROGRAMS MUTTNATION SUPPORTED IN 2019 INCLUDED THE MUTTNATION CMA FEST ADOPTION EVENT, MACC ADOPTION DRIVE, OUT HERE WITH ANIMALS ADOPTION EVENTS, FILL THE LITTLE RED WAGON DRIVE, GIVING TUESDAY, AND PAWSITIVELY FAMOUS. MUTTNATION CMA FEST ADOPTION EVENT - DURING THE CMA FEST MUTTNATION HELPED 62 DOGS FIND NEW HOMES.MACC ADOPTION DRIVE - MUTTNATION COVERED ALL OF THE ADOPTION FEES AT NASHVILLE METRO ANIMAL CONTROL FOR ONE DAY DURING THE YEAR.OUT HERE WITH ANIMALS ADOPTION EVENTS - PARTNERED WITH TRACTOR SUPPLY STORES NATIONWIDE TO PROMOTE ADOPTION EVENTS AT THESE STORES.FILL THE LITTLE RED WAGON - COLLECTED SUPPLIES THAT WERE DONATED TO LOCAL SHELTERS.GIVING TUESDAY - INDIVIDUALS PLEDGED THEIR TIME TO VOLUNTEER AT THEIR LOCAL SHELTER FOR A DAY. THEIR SELECTED SHELTER WAS THEN ENTERED INTO A RANDOM DRAWING FOR ONE OF THE TEN $1,000 GRANTS. THIS GENERATED MORE THAN 1,200 CONFIRMED VOLUNTEERS AND 10 VETTED SHELTERS RECEIVED GRANTS.PAWSITIVELY FAMOUS - MUTTNATION PROVIDES ANNUAL SUPPORT TO THIS ORGANIZATION THAT HELPS TRANSPORT ABUSED ANIMALS AND ANIMALS THAT ARE AT RISK OF BEING EUTHANIZED.
