Organizations Filed Purposes: ST. LUKE'S CREATES A COMMUNITY WHERE CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND SENIORS FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE CAN EASILY ACCESS THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO LIVE FULFILLING LIVES. WE EDUCATE, ENRICH, AND EMPOWER PEOPLE FROM ACROSS DAVIDSON COUNTY THROUGH MEANINGFUL COLLABORATIONS AND QUALITY SERVICES.

THE MISSION OF ST. LUKE'S COMMUNITY HOUSE IS TO CREATE A COMMUNITY WHERE CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND SENIORS FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS CAN EASILY ACCESS THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO LIVE FULFILLING LIVES.

CHILDREN - ST. LUKE'S CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PROVIDES A QUALITY, LITERACY-RICH EDUCATION TO CHILDREN SIX-WEEKS TO FIVE-YEARS OLD. THIS PROGRAM EQUIPS OUR CHILDREN WITH A STRONG EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION. CHILDREN HAVE ACCESS TO A QUALITY EDUCATION, TECHNOLOGY, THE ARTS, AND DAILY, NUTRITIOUS MEALS AND SNACKS. ALL CLASSROOMS ARE EQUIPPED WITH MATERIALS, BOOKS, AND LEARNING CENTERS DESIGNED TO DEVELOP LITERACY SKILLS THROUGH HANDS-ON, ORAL, AND VISUAL LEARNING TECHNIQUES. OUR GOAL IS TO CULTIVATE A LITERACY-RICH ENVIRONMENT SO THAT CHILDREN FROM ALL SOCIO-ECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS ARE GIVEN THE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION NEEDED TO BE SUCCESFUL AS THEY ENTER KINDERGARTEN. PARENTS PAY FOR THEIR CHILD'S CARE BASED ON A SLIDING-SCALE TUITION FEE SYSTEM TO ENSURE THAT FAMILIES HAVE ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE CHILD CARE WITHIN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY.- 81 CHILDREN ENROLLED IN OUR AFTER-SCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAM RUN ON CAMPUS BY PRESTON TAYLOR MINISTRIES- 94 CHILDREN SERVED THROUGH OUR PRESCHOOL PROGRAM.

SENIOR SERVICES - ST. LUKE'S AGING LIFE PROGRAM EXISTS TO HELP ADULTS OVER AGE 55 LIVE FULL, INDEPENDENT LIVES. THIS PROGRAM OCCURS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND SEEKS TO HOLISTICALLY IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE AGING ADULTS IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE DESIRE TO HELP THEM REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES, LIVE INDEPENDENTLY FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME AND PROVIDE A PLACE OF SUPPORT WHERE THEY ALWAYS FEEL WELCOME. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM WE DELIVER MOBILE MEALS AND PROVIDE REGULAR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. THROUGH OUR MOBILE MEALS PROGRAM, WE DELIVER DAILY, NUTRITIOUS MEALS AND A FRIENDLY VISIT FROM A VOLUNTEER TO SENIORS AND DISABLED INDIVIDUALS IN WEST NASHVILLE. AGING ADULTS ALSO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BINGO, ARTS AND CRAFTS AND VARIOUS OUTINGS. THE AGING LIFE PROGRAM DECREASES THE ISOLATION MANY INDIVIDUALS FEEL AND PROVIDES HUNGER RELIEF, INCREASED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, AND A SENSE OF COMMUNITY. - 19,940 NUTRITIOUS MEALS DELIVERED TO 108 SENIORS AND DISABLED INDIVIDUALS- 43 SENIORS ATTENDED OUR SENIOR FRIENDS PROGRAM

COMMUNITY SUPPORT - ST. LUKE'S OPERATES A FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER THAT COLLABORATES WITH VARIOUS PARTNERS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY. WE PARTNER WITH OVER TWENTY AGENCIES TO OFFER INTEGRATIVE SERVICES THAT ADDRESS THE FINANCIAL AS WELL AS THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL HEALTH OF OUR COMMUNITY. OUR ON-CAMPUS PARTNERS INCLUDE SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, UNITED WAY OF METRO NASHVILLE, THE NASHVILLE FOOD PROJECT, NEEDLINK, CATHOLIC CHARITIES, NASHVILLE ADULT LITERACY COUNCIL, AND PRESTON TAYLOR MINISTRIES. THESE COLLABORATIONS CONTRIBUTE TO OUR FOOD BANK, EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, LITERACY EDUCATION, ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES, MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING AND AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS. ST. LUKE'S IS A HUB FOR NON-PROFIT SERVICES SO THAT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES HAVE ACCESS TO THE RESOURCES AND ASSISTANCE THEY NEED ALL IN ONE PLACE.- 17,283 DAVIDSON COUNTY RESIDENTS RECEIVED FOOD- 451 CHILDREN AND SENIORS RECEIVED ASSISTANCE THROUGH OUR CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS- 420 INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATED IN OUR COMMUNITY EVENTS, INCLUDING THE HALLOWEEN TRUNK OR TREAT AND UNITE THE NATIONS EVENTS- 562 CLIENTS SERVED, AND TAX RETURNS FILED
