Organizations Filed Purposes:
Promote the study and teaching of all subjects that may be offered at LBW Community College, to receive contributions and funds which provide gifts of scholarships to the college for students who have been selected by the colleges committee(s).
As set forth in the Mission of the Foundation, its purposes are - generally - to facilitate the education opportunities of students of LBW Community College, through the provision of scholarship funds. This was accomplished during the report year through fund-raising activities, investment activities, and through the funding of scholarships. Additionally, the foundation provides on-site student housing (apartments) to further the mission of the colleges activities.In recent years, including the year herein presented, the Foundations scholarship commitments have been fulfilled through a grant recd several years prior, remitted in total to the college, and properly administered and reported by the college. Therefore, this return does not reflect grants to the institution in the current year. Those gifts will be reinstated in future years.
