Education and research in orthopaedics and sports medicine To improve the health and well-being of all people in the communities we serve.
American Sports Medicine Institute features a state-of-the-art biomechanics laboratory, a sports medicine library, and a skills lab for arthroscopic training and cadaveric research. ASMI is the nation's largest accredited educator of sports medicine physicians with graduates located in forty-four states, Puerto Rico, and ten foreign countries. In January 2019, ASMI conducted our 37th Annual Injuries in Baseball Course. This course is the longest running course of its kind. ASMI continues to develop and sponsor other educational programs, conduct scientific research and continue other charitable activities as well as offer pre-participation sports physicals for middle and high school students in the community.
