The Ruttenberg Family Foundation is dedicated to nurturing and promoting Jewish life in Birmingham, nationally, in Israel and throughout the world; is involved in building a better Birmingham through alliances and partnerships with other community groups, and is committed to helping all people in need in times of crisis.

Grants provided to N. E. Miles Jewish Day School in order to support its continued growth. NEMJDS is a remarkable place of learning where children can grow into the best version of themselves. The program imbues young people with a love of learning, a love of self, a love of community, and a love of Jewish values and traditions.
