Organizations Filed Purposes: THE MISSION OF START WITH ONE INTERNATIONAL, INC. ("SWOI")IS TO PROVIDE THE SEEDS OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE TO MAKE A SUSTAINABLE DIFFERENCE IN THEIR WORLD. CURRENTLY, THE FOCUS IS IN KENYA WITH HUMANITARIAN/DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS INCLUDING BRINGING CLEAN WATER TO COMMUNITIES, HYGIENE/HEALTH CAMPAIGNS, BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE AND ASSISTANCE TO SCHOOLS, ORPHANAGES & CHURCHES, HEALTH FACILITIES AND WOMAN'S EMPOWERMENT & BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP. IN OCTOBER 2013, SWOI BEGAN WORKING WITH A KENYAN NON- GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION, START WITH ONE KENYA ("SWOK") TO ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS. SWOI HAS SEVERAL PERSONNEL ON THE GROUND IN KENYA FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESEARCHING POTENTIAL PROJECTS AND THEN MONITORING & FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT ON THE HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS GRANTED TO AND CONDUCTED BY SWOK. SWOK HAS PERSONNEL ON THE GROUND TO BE THE HOSTS AND COORDINATORS FOR MISSION TEAMS WHICH GO AND DEMONSTRATE GOD'S LOVE BY ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN THE HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS. WE ANTICIPATE THE PROJECTS TO BE

CLEAN WATER IS A KEY INITIATIVE OF HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS. DRINKING UNSAFE WATER IS A MAJOR CONTRIBUTOR TO DISEASE & DEATH WITHIN KENYA. THROUGH A GRANT AGREEMENT, SWOI GRANTS FUNDS TO START WITH ONE KENYA ("SWOK") FOR PROJECTS THAT FOCUS ON CLEAN WATER. SWOK AND MISSION TEAMS CONDUCT TRAINING SESSIONS ON GOOD HYGIENE PRACTICES AND THE IMPORTANCE OF USING AND DRINKING CLEAN WATER. IN 2020, DUE TO COVID-19, THERE WAS A REDUCTION IN DONATIONS RECEIVED AND THUS A RESULTING DECREASE IN MISSION WORK. FOR FYE 30 SEPT 2020, 4,200+ UZIMA CLEAN WATER FILTERS WERE DISTRIBUTED BY SWOK IN THE NJORO AREA OF KENYA. FOR FYE 2019, 7,500+ UZIMA CLEAN WATER FILTERS WERE DISTRIBUTED, AS WELL AS 15,000+ DISTRIBUTED IN FYE 2018, 8,000+ IN FYE 2017 AND 13,000+ IN FYE 2016.

EDUCATION - SWOI THROUGH A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH SWOK IS INVOLVED IN THE EDUCATIONAL SPONSORSHIP OF APPROXIMATELY 100 CHILDREN INCLUDING 30+ FORMER STREET BOYS. IN 2020, DUE TO COVID-19 AND SCHOOL SHUT DOWN IN KENYA, MANY OF THE SPONSORSHIP FUNDS WERE USED FOR COVID RELIEF AND HOME SCHOOLING EFFORTS FOR SPONSORED CHILDREN. SWOK HAS CONDUCTED AND COORDINATED VARIOUS OTHER TRAININGS AND EMPOWERMENT SEMINARS IN KENYA (IE. HYGIENE & SANITATION PRESENTATIONS, PASTOR TRAINING AND BUSINESS PRACTICES). IN ADDITION, SWOK IS INVOLVED WITH THE GITUAMBA JKC PRIMARY SCHOOL LOCATED IN RURAL KENYA. THROUGH GRANTED FUNDS, SWOK WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE A LUNCH FEEDING PROGRAM FOR THE STUDENTS, AND TO PROVIDE TEXTBOOKS AND OTHER SUPPLIES FOR THE SCHOOL.

BUILDING PROJECTS - SWOI GRANTED FUNDS TO SWOK FOR BUILDING VARIOUS NECESSARY INFRASTRUCTURE WITHIN KENYA. IN 2020, DUE TO COVID-19, THERE WAS A REDUCTION IN DONATIONS RECEIVED. AS A RESULT, ALL BUILDING PROJECTS FOR 2020 WERE POSTPONED. FYE 2019 BUILDING PROJECTS AT GITUAMBA JKC PRIMARY SCHOOL INCLUDED IMPROVING THE WATER SYSTEM AND PERMANENT FLOORING AS WELL AS THE INSTALLATION OF A LIBRARY. FYE 2018 BUILDING PROJECTS INCLUDED ADDITIONAL CLASSROOMS AND A ROOM FOR A FUTURE LIBRARY AND OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES TO THE SCHOOL. FYE 2017 BUILDING PROJECTS INCLUDED A KITCHEN AND A DINING HALL AND CLASSROOMS FOR THE SCHOOL. ALSO, A CHURCH WITH A BUSINESS ENTERPRISE OF CORN GRINDING IN THE GITUAMBA IDP/REFUGEE SETTLEMENT WAS BUILT.
