CHRISTIAN INSTITUTION OF LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCES COMMITTED TO PROVIDING EDUCATION OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY WITH ITS PRIMARY EMPHASIS TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE IN UNDERGRADUATE, PROFESSIONAL, GRADUATE, CONTINUING EDUCATION, AND SPECIALIZED DEGREE-GRANTING PROGRAMS.

BELIEF IS THE FOUNDATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MOBILE, A CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY IN ALABAMA RECOGNIZED IN AMERICA'S BEST CHRISTIAN COLLEGES, AMERICA'S 100 BEST COLLEGE BUYS, AND AS A MILITARY FRIENDLY SCHOOL WITH EXCELLENT SMART RATINGS. WITH A 13:1 STUDENT/FACULTY RATIO IN 2019-20, 163 FULL AND PART-TIME CHRISTIAN FACULTY INSTRUCTED AND NURTURED 1,989 STUDENTS IN 75 DIFFERENT AREAS OF STUDY IN ONLINE AND ON-CAMPUS CLASSES, AND THE UNIVERSITY AWARDED 3 ASSOCIATE DEGREES, 279 BACHELOR'S DEGREES AND 57 MASTER'S DEGREES IN 2019-20. THE UNIVERSITY OF MOBILE INTEGRATES LEARNING, FAITH AND LEADERSHIP THROUGH STRONG ACADEMIC PROGRAMS, NATIONALLY COMPETITIVE ATHLETICS, VIBRANT CAMPUS LIFE, OPPORTUNITES FOR TRAVEL AND SERVICE, SMALL CLASSES AND PERSONAL ATTENTION FROM FACULTY AND STAFF. WITH 593 RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS IN 2019-20, OVER ONE THIRD OF THE STUDENT BODY LIVES IN ON-CAMPUS RESIDENTIAL HOUSING.

THE UNIVERSITY PROVIDED FACILITIES FOR 1,212 STUDENTS TO INTERACT WITH THE ECONOMIC, CULTURAL, POLITICAL AND HUMAN SERVICES SECTORS OF THE LOCAL AND/OR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. THE SUMMER CAMP WAS CANCELLED FOR JUNE 2020 DUE TO COVID-19.

THE UNIVERSITY'S GOAL IS TO PRODUCE GRADUATES WHO ARE EXCELLENT IN THEIR FIELD OF STUDY, VIBRANT IN THEIR FAITH, AND CAPABLE OF USING THEIR INFLUENCE IN EFFECTIVE WAYS TO CHANGE THE WORLD. STUDENTS HAVE INTENTIONAL OPPORTUNITES AND EXAMPLES OF HOW TO USE THEIR KNOWLEGE AND TALENTS TO EFFECT CHANGE. STUDENTS LEARN AND PRACTICE LEADERSHIP THROUGH STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION, CAMPUS ACTIVITIES BOARD, 13 ACADEMIC CLUBS, 10 HONOR SOCIETIES, 3 RELIGIOUS CLUBS, 1 SERVICE CLUB, INTRAMURAL SPORTS AND INTERCOLLEGIATE TEAMS IN 17 SPORTS. ACADEMIC AND CAMPUS LIFE EXPERIENCES GIVE STUDENTS OPPORTUNITES TO TRAVEL, PERFORM, STUDY AND SERVE ACROSS THE U.S. AND INTERNATIONALLY.
