Organizations Filed Purposes:
Uchee Pines is a training center and lifestyle program designed to bring healing through natural means, and to promote preventive, informed lifestyle choices. We offer practical application of these principles, and emphasize the importance of firm faith in the Divine Healer.
Lifestyle Center: Provides 10- and 17-day residential sessions in health education and lifestyle change. Our goal is to educate and empower individuals to live lifestyles for optimal physical, mental, and spiritual health. Conducted 16 sessions in 2020, with 153 guests. Also conducted virtual sessions with about 800 participants; presented two virtual sessions for CME medical conferences with 18 participants.
Country Life Store & Restaurant: Offers health foods, materials, and supplies that promote a healthy lifestyle based on biblical principles. The restaurant provides meals as a demonstration consistent with this objective. Conducted 48 health programs and additional lectures on a variety of topics, with attendance of around 200, plus online viewers (3,500+). Also weekly Bible studies held, with attendance for the year of 45.
Medical Missionary Training Programs: A religious work/study program to train individuals how to help others promote a healthy lifestyle, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Participants learn how to train and educate others to promote health, reduce disease, and to live a higher quality lifestyle through biblical lifestyle principles. We had 17 trainees participate in 2020. Training and outreach included 9 weekends of health emphasis/cooking classes in various communities, and 8 virtual health emphasis weekends. Practical work experience also provided in a number of areas, including the canvassing, farm, cafeteria, housekeeping, maintenance, and grounds.
