BCDA Inc strive's to create opportunities by educating the general public,business owners and students through newsletters, hosting a business and industry day in enabling all students in the county to tour local business, and assist in area development. In 2020 BCDA Inc was able to implement a Boone County Emerging Leaders Academy. An exclusive high-quality leadership training program for young adult leaders in Boone County. In addition to Emerging Leader BCDA Inc supported local business effected by the coronavirus pademic by funding a "Money Multiplier" gift card program matching dollar for dollar the value up to ($500) in gift cards purchased from a participating Boone County business. Through the Money Multiplier gift card program BCDA Inc was able to help 28 Boone County businesses.
