Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to connect Nebraskans with one another, bridge communities and enhance state pride by initiating statewide programming that encourages volunteerism and economic development.
COVID Relief - A fund established to provide direct support to communities and individuals affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Programming includes education on slowing the spread of the virus, laptop computers for student access for virutal learning, mark distributing and funds granted to communities to address COVID-19 related needs.
It Happens Here - A video storytelling initiative that showcases pioneering young Nebraskans who are successfully chasing their dreams in the Cornhusker State. The video series features entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, non-profit leaders, legislators, and other young Nebraskans making a difference in their communities. The overarching goal of the video series is to spur economic development, convince Nebraska graduates to start their careers in the state, and to recruit talented workers to Nebraska.
Nebraska Volunteers - A web-based initiative launched in 2017 as part of the state's sesquicentennial celebration. The goal of the program is to increase volunteer engagement in the state, connect with other Nebraska and track their volunteerism progress.
