These components are: - Central Navigation - A coordinated approach that ensures CYI participants get access to all the services they need in a streamlined way. We have served 190 youth with Central Navigation services as of September 30, 2019. . - Coaching - An array of coaches within the system through partner organizations to provide goal-oriented coaching for CYI youth to develop skills and access services and supports towards enhancing Youth Thrive Promotive Factors and successful self-sufficiency transition to adulthood. Youth savings are matched up to 2-to-1, cars 3-to-1, helping them reach their goals more quickly. We have served 38 youth as of September 30, 2019. . - Youth Support Services and Needs-Based Funds - Emergency cash assistance available to help CYI youth keep small bumps in the road - like car repairs, utility bill surges, unexpected medical costs - from becoming larger burdens. *The Central Navigator and our coordinator review and grant flex funds requests. We have served 100 young people as of September 30, 2019 with flex funds. . - Youth Leadership and Voice - Opportunities for youth leadership and advocacy through empowering processes. This also includes community youth councils to provide input about the CYI system and what services are needed most. We have served 46 young people in youth leadership as of September 30, 2019. . The CYI aims to bring young people together with service providers, funders and decision-makers to create supportive communities committed to improving outcomes for young people.
