Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Evangelium Institute is a Catholic 501(c)3 organization that provides dynamic formation to adults in the Archdiocese of Omaha. We strive to bring those we serve closer to a lasting experience of Jesus Christ and His Church.
Catholic teacher formation: The Evangelium Institute offers monthly training to Catholic school teachers in the Archdiocese of Omaha to help them understand their Catholic faith. In doing so, the aim is to help Catholic school teachers pass on the Catholic faith to students. This training includes instruction in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, small and large group discussion as well as guided meditations.
Monthly presentations on faith topics (First Tuesdays): On the first Tuesday of every month, the Evangelium Institute hosts a forum at Christ the Kind parish with a presenter on a topic of the Catholic faith. There have been a wide range of topics and sometime outside speakers are brought in. This is open to everyone and the Evangelium Institute provides refreshments.
Men's Evangelization and Discipleship: On the second Tuesday of each month, the Evangelium Institute hosts a men's group to discuss the Catholic faith, specifically based on the bible. This is open to anyone and participants are encouraged to invite others. The men's group meets in homes and provides refreshments.
