The mission of HCHN is to provide relief (by offering humanitarian aid to all of the children of rural Nigeria residing in the Catholic Diocese of Minna suffering from poverty and lack of education)accomplished by building and starting schools and drilling wells for clean water, that would otherwise not be available
These funds were wire transferred to the Minna Catholic Diocese bank account in Nigeria in 7 in-progress increments from start to finish for the Saint Joseph High School project in Garam, Nigeria. This 2-story building that was originally planned to be built in 2 phases with the 1st floor being the 1st phase and the 2nd floor being the 2nd phase over a period of 18 months was planned trying to take advantage of the expected parts of the years when there is little rain. However, as the building progressed it became apparent that the weather was cooperating to such a degree that it was possible to complete the building from start to finish in calendar year 2020. The interior of the completed two story concrete block structure consists of (4) classrooms; (2) science laboratories; (2) staff offices; (1) storage area; and restroom facilities with a total of (6) toilets.
These funds were wire trasnferred to the Minna Catholic Diocese bank account in Nigeria for Classroom Furniture including (80)Student desks; (4) Staff Desks with Chairs; (4) Marker Boards; and Power Step Downs for (4) Classrooms at Divine Mercy Middle School at Erena, Nigeria (and) also Counters & Cabinets and Power Step Downs for the Teaching Staff Living Quarters at Kuchipkma, Nigeria near Erena.
These funds were wire transferred to the Minna Catholic Diocese bank account in Nigeria for the Customs and Clearing Charges to be paid upon the arrival of (2) used 2016 Nissen Rogues that were donated corporate vehicles directly shipped (with transfer of ownership and titles) by that United States corporation to the Minna Catholic Diocese in Nigeria.
