The Nebraska Heart Hospital (NHH) provides a comprehensive program of cardiology services. These services begin with the patient and their family practice or primary care physician, a relationship fundamental in the prevention and treatment of heart disease. The Nebraska Heart Hospital provides an inclusive series of non-invasive and invasive diagnostic testing and practices the most up-to-date interventional therapy in the treatment of heart disease. Cardiologists at the Nebraska Heart Hospital work with patients and referring physicians to assure that a team-based approach is used from diagnosis through treatment and rehabilitation.
Surgeons with the Nebraska Heart Institute perform a variety of procedures to treat cardiac, vascular, and thoracic diseases. These surgeries include but are not limited to : Coronary Artery Bypass, TAVR, Transmyocardial Revascularization (TMR), Valvular Procedures, Transplantation, Vascular Disease, Peripheral Angiography, and Vein Clinic.
