The initial purpose of the Organization is to enhance the general welfare of the Omaha metropolitan community by providing financial support to public and charitable institutions and by assisting in the construction of facilities which will assist in achieving that goal. In 2019, the Organization entered into an agreement with the University of Nebraska to assist in the development of baseball and softball facilities for the students at University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Under the agreement, the Organization holds the assets of the project until the expiration or termination of the agreement at which time the title to the facilities shall automatically vest in the University. Due to this arrangement, the Organization is not incurring "program service" expenses as the facilities which are being constructed are capitalized as an asset and will be turned over to the University at the completion of the project.
