Organizations Filed Purposes:
Summit Animal Rescue Association, Inc.'s mission is to rescue cats, dogs, or any animal in need, provide them with medical attention, rehabilitate them, and provide a temporary loving environment until we find a permanent home through adoption. In addition, we have hands-on volunteers who help N.J. residents spay and neuter feral cats to help reduce the number of unwanted kittens in shelters. Summit Animal Rescue Association, Inc. has a proven track record for saving lives. Through our tireless efforts we have found homes for 200 to 600 animals a year since we began in 2002. Our entire staff is made up of volunteers; we work with veterinarians who give us discounted rates and we do not spend any money on advertising, so 100% of all donations go directly to the care and feeding of the animals we save.

TO RESCUE, REHABILITATE AND FIND HOMES FOR STRAY ANIMALS. SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM ASSISTS PET OWNERS IN OBTAINING SPAY AND NEUTERING SERVICES AND EDUCATES OWNERS IN THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARD ANIMALS. WE BELIEVE STRONGLY IN CONTROLLING OVERPOPULATION BY THE NEUTERING AND SPAYING OF STRAYS. PLEASE REFER TO THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IN QUESTION 1 ABOVE.
