Mater Dei is no longer operating as a Skilled Nursing Facility. Its operations ended in December 2012. It was a 64 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Newfield, New Jersey. It was last licensed during 2013 by the New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services. The home's sole member was Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden.previous Resident programs included restorative nursing care by licensed and certified nursing staff, comprehensive plan of care, social service, pharmacy, congregated dining, activities, special diets, spiritual counseling by a Catholic chaplain, housekeeping and laundry.Rehabilitation services, physical, occupational and speech therapies were available for those recovering from fractures, strokes and other short-term, post hospital stays. In addition to core therapies and treatment modalities, we provided a wide range of complex clinical care and specialized services, including: Gait and balance training, dysphasia therapy, IV Antibiotic therapy, enteral nutrition, wound care and pain management.Mater Dei had some revenues and expenses in 2016 due to the winding down of activities.
