Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to promote the creation, development, implementation and transmission of replicable models for holistic urban transformation that strengthen civil society and equip people to become change agents committed to reducing poverty, violence and corruption in order to build healthier cities.
We continue to support social change model in four urban poor communities on the eastern side of Mexico City, an area that has been deemed among the most violent and poverty-stricken regions of the country. In addition, through our broad-based organizing efforts, we are impacting urban poor city dwellers in several other municipalities. This includes teaching public health prevention, environmental clean-up, household building improvements, vocational training, and lunching micro-enterprises. Community projects include: improving access to basic services like water, sewage, electricity). Also, due to devastating earthquake last year, the need for urban development has increase.
We are hosting a math club for children grade 1 to 6 in a local church. The program runs from September 30th to March 18th, on Saturday afternoons.
We are supporting educational program by donating books.
