GRANTS TO ROWAN UNIVERSITY AND AFFILIATE-THE ROWAN UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION (RUF) IS THE OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED NON-PROFIT, INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION OF PHILANTHROPIC AID TO ROWAN UNIVERSITY. RUF IS THE ONLY VEHICLE THROUGH WHICH CHARITABLE GIFTS TO ROWAN UNIVERSITY MAY BE MADE. ITS GOAL IS TO IMPROVE THE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND SERVICES PROVIDED TO ROWAN STUDENTS, FACULTY, ALUMNI AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE ROWAN UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION CONCLUDED A SIX-YEAR CAMPAIGN ON JUNE 30, 2020 SURPASSING ITS GOAL OF $120 MILLION. FUNDS RAISED WILL PROVIDE THE MEANS TO SUSTAIN THE INSTITUTION'S GROWTH AND IMPACT AND WILL SHAPE ITS FUTURE - ADDING VALUE TO EVERY ROWAN DEGREE, DISTINGUISHING EACH ROWAN INNOVATION AND IMPROVING THE LIVES OF COUNTLESS INDIVIDUALS. IN ADDITION TO THE LARGE AND NOTABLE COMMITMENTS, WE RECEIVED OVER 35,700 ANNUAL GIFTS OF ALL SIZES, WHICH COLLECTIVELY WILL PROVIDE COUNTLESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS, FACULTY AND THE INSTITUTION. EQUALLY IMPORTANT, WE WORKED TO ENGAGE OUR ALUMNI, DONORS AND OTHER CONSTITUENTS THROUGH EVENTS, OUTREACH AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING. IN ADDITION, THE ROWAN UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDING FOR ACADEMIC ENHANCEMENTS, RESEARCH, PROGRAMMING AND STUDENT SERVICES. THE LARGEST FUNDING SOURCE IS THE HENRY M. ROWAN ENDOWMENT FUND WHICH CONTRIBUTES UNRESTRICTED DOLLARS TO SUPPORT THE UNIVERSITY.
