JOB SKILLS TRAINING FOR DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN THE OPERATIONS OF A CHARITABLE THRIFT STORE. INDIVIDUALS COME FROM VARIOUS GOVERNMENTAL SPONSORED OR CHARITABLE PROGRAMS. WE CROSS TRAIN IN THE STORE TO LEARN ALL ASPECTS OF RETAIL OPERATIONS. WE ARRANGE SCHEDULES TO ENABLE PARTICIPANTS TO TAKE CLASSES TO IMPROVE SKILL SETS. THE GOAL IS TO HELP PREPARE THE INDIVIDUALS FOR EMPLOYMENTS OUTSIDE THE PROGRAM AND BECOME SELF-SUPPORTING.
