Organizations Filed Purposes:
We commit ourselves to a simple, yet very important mission; that is to help families in financial hardship due to a cancer illness. Our fundraisers encompasses an annual softball tournament fundraiser,collects donations, receives sponsorship, as well as other community held fundraisers organized by us or by other groups willing to donate to our organization.
In 2018, COPA Maribel returned to its fundraising roots by hosting its annual softball tournaments (men's and Co-Ed), as well as, partaking in various fundraising initiatives solely focused on childhood cancer. Through COPA Maribel's fundraising diligence, 6 families received financial assistance, which included a year's worth of rent paid in full, electric or gas bills paid in full so that families could focus on patient treatment, cost of healthcare and procedures needed to combat cancerous cells.
