To nurture and enrich the lives of individuals in underserved New Jersey communities primarily located in Essex and Morris counties. The Organization provides food, clothing, toys, necessities and educational support in these communities.
Mentoring and Support Programs - East Orange, New JerseyVolunteers participate in one-on-one mentoring and support programs throughout the school year to encourage future academic success and to empower children in the community to strive for excellence. The Foundation sponsors holiday events for Elementary School students and their siblings. Volunteers distribute warm clothing, new coats, gifts and holiday foods to over 500 families in the Essex County, New Jersey community.
The Bass Learning Center - East Orange, New JerseySponsors an after-school program for students in the East Orange School District offering home work assistance, mentoring and tutoring services, and pre-college guidance. The program is staffed by Math and Language Arts specialists from the school district.
Backpack Buddies Food Support Program - East Orange, New JerseyThe Foundation and volunteers distribute bags of healthy food and fresh produce on a weekly basis to over 150 food insecure families in the East Orange community.
