Public Social Charity - The mission of the Breasties is to empower those affected by breast and reproductive cancers by igniting strength and positivity through connection, free retreats, wellness activities, events and an all-inclusive resourceful online community. The hope is to spread the message that whatever you are going through- you are not alone.The Breasties is unlike other organizations, as it is for everyone- survivors, previvors, warriors, thirvers, carevivors and supporters. This organization believes in the power of community, collaboration and inclusivity. Because we truly are stronger together.
Camp Breastie was one of the organization's largest programming services and provided a summer camp experience for over 600 women affected by breast and reproductive cancers. The camp consisted of educational panels, physical activities, arts & crafts, connection, a dance party, and more.The organization provided five free weekend wellness retreats for nearly 200 women affected by breast and reproductive cancers. Healthful meals, room & board, and activities ranging from white water rafting to hiking were provided to help provide support and connection.The Move Mountains Gala is the organization's largest fundraising event which also creates an opportunity for hundreds if members if the community to come together.
