Puerto Rican Day Parade Incorporated is a non profit corporaton and operates exclusively for education and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section or any future Federal tax code. Puerto Rican Day Parade Incorporateds purpose is to promote, celebrate and educate the community. We honor the good qualities, citizenship, honesty, hard work and contributions of Puerto Ricans to the betterment and advancement of the economic,cultural and social structure of the State of New Jersey. Our progrmas include honoring the Puerto Rican heritage by declaring every third Sunday in September as Puerto Rican Day in the city of Newark with a Parade. We hold fundraising events in order to provide educational and cultural programs that honor and promote Puerto Rican Culture and traditions such as theatrical productions, art exhibitions, historical presentations and dance and music festivals.
